Health & Safety Tree Condition Surveys

For management companies, business owners, home owners etc.

This type of survey targets tree safety and should be used by tree owners to ensure that their trees are regularly checked for good structural stability and condition. It is a tree owners obligation to check trees are inspected on a regular basis if they pose a risk to the public or visitors etc.

The survey process consists initially of a site visit and a survey of the required trees. Each tree is inspected & measured and its dimensions & details recorded using digital handheld PDA equipment. Individual comments 7 recommendations applicable to each tree and which relate to Health & Safety and Statutory obligations are included. The trees position is also recorded on a digital drawing.

A report is then compiled from the data which also includes an appraisal of the stock in general. A recommendations page gives a list of any management requirements for each tree such as pruning, further inspection etc. A plan is supplied showing the positions of the numbered trees.

Prices for Health & Safety surveys start at £150 (the actual cost depends upon tree numbers and location).
